A new six-part game show called Better Luck Than Chuck is set to premiere on YouTube on 24 September, giving the classic trivia format a horror-comedy makeover. Created by Meredith Tummillo and Tony Wash, the series tests contestants' knowledge of horror films, characters and iconic moments, blending genre fandom with the familiar quiz-show structure and offering prizes from horror-related brands.

The show is hosted by "The Widow" (Alexis Allotta) and her undead husband Charlie (Adam Michaels), with new episodes airing weekly on Thursdays throughout the Halloween season. It features a run of celebrity guest question-readers from the horror world, including director Mike Flanagan, producer Chad Villella, and filmmakers Brea Grant, BJ McDonnell, Gary Sherman, Rebekah McKendry and Anthony Cousins, alongside a separately announced ultimate trip giveaway for viewers.
