Music Business Worldwide · 42 minutes ago

Jeremy Erlich's Alta Music Group has established a music publishing division called Alta Publishing, appointing Zeb Berg as Head of Publishing to oversee its operations. The division launches with its first signings—producer and songwriter Elise Eriksen and Finnish artist Alma—and announces a creative partnership with Evan Baker's Silqscreen to jointly develop additional songwriters and producers globally, with Sony Music Publishing providing administrative support.

Erlich founded Alta Music Group in 2025 after serving as Global Head of Music at Spotify, with K-pop artist Jennie as its inaugural major signing. Berg transitions to the role from Electric Feel, where he led the producers and songwriters division and has been credited with work on releases including BLACKPINK's "Jump" and co-writing credits on charting records by 21 Savage and The Weeknd. Alma, a Finnish singer and songwriter, has established herself through co-writing credits on major releases and two studio albums.
