Billboard's weekly New Music Friday guide highlights the most notable new releases, led by Jhené Aiko's first studio album since 2020's Chilombo. The round-up also features new music from Bleachers, Dove Cameron and several other artists, reflecting a busy release week across R&B, pop and alternative genres.

Aiko's 20-track album, titled Westside Whimsy, includes guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Tyga, Ab-Soul, Larry June and OHMA. Elsewhere, Bleachers released "Caught Myself Believing" for the Practical Magic 2 soundtrack, Dove Cameron unveiled her debut album's lead single "When In Rome" (inspired by her engagement to Måneskin's Damiano David), and Cage the Elephant followed their chart-topping "Beaches In Tennessee" with new single "Dying In Reverse". Other releases came from Chinouriri, Slayyyter and Nigerian star Rema.
