London-based songwriter jo from school has released a new single, 'Weight', ahead of her debut EP 'Grace, Flair & Distance', which arrives via Chess Club Records on 7th August. The release follows a run of live support slots, including dates with Daffo and TTSSFU last year and a more recent stint supporting Skullcrusher, as well as a specially invited performance at Bird On The Wire's South London residency at Peckham's Greyhound venue.

Described as hushed, quietly intense and lyrically incisive, 'Weight' proved a challenging track to finish, with the artist crediting producer Rich for encouraging her to push the song through to completion rather than abandon it. She called it a "soft and heavy song" and her favourite to perform live. A live video accompanying the release was filmed by her sister, Grace, during a family holiday in Wales.
