Joe Budden Makes ‘Law & Order’ Cameo as a Rapper Named Big Switty
Joe Budden made a guest appearance in the Law & Order episode “Property”, playing Big Switty, a rapper caught up in a murder investigation. The cameo links his television work with a true-crime podcast he co-hosts with series creator Dick Wolf.
Detectives find a voicemail in which Big Switty threatens art broker Andrew Carson. Budden’s character says he paid $300,000 for an Egyptian mask he believes is fake, then shares information about Carson’s girlfriend; he also gives detectives an alibi, saying he was at dinner with his manager and lawyer at 9.30pm.
