Former Anthrax frontman John Bush is set to bring his live celebration of the band's 1993–2003 material to Europe for the first time, headlining a slot at the Wacken Open Air festival in Germany in summer 2027. The move follows a run of well-received US shows in December 2025 and June 2026, and gives European fans their first chance to hear songs from his four-album tenure performed live by Bush himself, with further European dates promised to be announced in due course.

The Wacken performance is scheduled for the festival's 28–31 July 2027 run, and will see Bush again backed by his Category 7 bandmates Phil Demmel, Mike Orlando and Jason Bittner, alongside Armored Saint's Joey Vera on bass, who has stood in during earlier gigs. The set is expected to draw on Bush's four Anthrax albums: "Sound Of White Noise", "Stomp 442", "Volume 8: The Threat Is Real" and "We've Come For You All". Bush fronted Anthrax from 1992 to 2005, one of several vocalists in the band's 42-year history alongside Joey Belladonna, Neil Turbin and Dan Nelson, with Belladonna currently the group's frontman.
