John Constantine Movie From ‘Evil Dead Wrath’s Francis Galluppi In Development At DC

DC Studios has tapped Francis Galluppi to write a John Constantine film, according to sources cited in the report. The project is at a very early stage, with no other attachments known, so its development does not yet confirm a cast, director or production schedule.

Constantine, also known as Hellblazer, first appeared in a 1985 Swamp Thing comic and is a working-class British detective skilled in magic and the occult. Keanu Reeves played him in the 2005 film, while Matt Ryan led a short-lived television series from 2014. Galluppi’s upcoming film Evil Dead Wrath is due in cinemas on 7 April 2028.
