John Corabi has said his latest departure from rock band The Dead Daisies was “not a mutual decision”, contradicting the band’s statement that he had chosen to leave. The former Mötley Crüe singer also denied rumours that he would join Quiet Riot or return to Mötley Crüe, framing the change as a new career opportunity while promoting his solo album, *New Day*.

The Dead Daisies announced Corabi’s exit on 14 July after his three-year second spell with the group, thanking him and wishing him success. He first joined in 2015, left in 2019 for Glenn Hughes, and returned after Hughes departed in May 2023; Hughes recently reunited with members for a Purple Daisies show, while The Dead Daisies plan extensive European and US touring in 2027.
