Sleepy Hollow, Tim Burton's 1999 gothic horror film starring Johnny Depp, is being reissued on 4K SteelBook, timed to coincide with an upcoming remake reportedly featuring Sydney Sweeney. The release gives the cult classic renewed attention as one of Burton's most successful and straightforwardly horror-focused collaborations with Depp, drawing on Washington Irving's original tale while paying homage to classic Hammer Films horror.

The 4K SteelBook arrives on 22 September and includes extras such as a Tim Burton director's commentary, the making-of documentary Behind the Legend, and the retrospective featurette Reflections on Sleepy Hollow. Written by Andrew Kevin Walker (Se7en), the film received Oscar nominations for its art direction, cinematography and costume design, featured a notable supporting cast including Christopher Lee, Michael Gambon and Miranda Richardson, and went on to earn a 71% Rotten Tomatoes score alongside $200 million at the worldwide box office.
