Johnny Marr's forthcoming show at OVO Arena Wembley in London, which had been billed as his biggest headline concert to date, has been postponed. The gig, originally scheduled for Saturday 24 October 2026 with support from Baxter Dury, was called off in a statement from the venue, which apologised for the disappointment and inconvenience caused to fans who had made plans to attend.

The venue said a new date has not yet been confirmed but that ticket-holders will be updated as soon as one is set, and that all tickets will be automatically refunded to the original payment method, with no action required from buyers. Neither the organisers nor Marr have given a reason for the postponement, and NME says it has contacted his representatives for comment. Marr is currently touring Europe, having recently played Manchester's Castlefield Bowl and Dublin's Iveagh Gardens, with a Spanish date due the following night.
