Jon M. Chu’s Electric Somewhere Names Jana Helman Head Of TV, Aimee Rivera SVP Motion Pictures
Filmmaker Jon M. Chu's production company Electric Somewhere announced two senior executive appointments to support its strategic growth into television and animation. Jana Helman was named Head of Television and Aimee Rivera became Senior Vice President of Motion Pictures, joining existing Head of Production Michael Bostick. The expansion occurs as Electric Somewhere pursues a slate of music and movement-driven event films under its Paramount partnership.
Helman brings experience from senior roles at Paramount Television Studios, where she managed development on series for Netflix, Amazon, and Apple, including Little House on the Prairie and Cross. Rivera joins from Skydance Media, where she spent nine years overseeing production on major films including Top Gun: Maverick and the upcoming Matchbox adaptation. Both executives previously worked at major studios, with Rivera having started her career at Sony Pictures.
