Jon Stewart and Pete Davidson have announced a one-night comedy benefit at Madison Square Garden to mark the 25th anniversary of the 11 September attacks. The show, called NYC Still Rising, will take place on Thursday 10 September and will feature performances from Stewart, Davidson, Dave Chappelle, Bill Burr, Aziz Ansari, Nikki Glaser, Ronny Chieng and Josh Johnson, alongside other special guests, with proceeds going to 9/11 charities.

Tickets go on pre-sale from 10am local time on Wednesday 29 July, with a public on-sale following at the same time on Friday 31 July via Ticketmaster. The event will be phone-free, and organisers described it as a celebration of New York's "tenacity, resilience, and championship heart".
