Jon Stewart and Pete Davidson are reuniting to lead "NYC Still Rising After 25 Years: A 9/11 Charities Comedy Benefit" at Madison Square Garden, marking the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. The event revives a benefit the pair first fronted in 2021, and follows a similar 20th-anniversary show they organised five years ago, with proceeds again going to charities supporting 9/11 victims and first responders.

The benefit, taking place on 10 September in Manhattan, will feature comedians including Aziz Ansari, Bill Burr, Dave Chappelle, Ronny Chieng, Nikki Glaser and Josh Johnson, with further acts still to be announced. Both hosts have personal and long-standing ties to the cause: Davidson's father, an FDNY firefighter, died responding to the World Trade Center attacks, while Stewart has campaigned for years for healthcare and compensation for 9/11 first responders, including his notable 2019 congressional testimony. Tickets go on sale on Friday at 10am ET.
