The July 2026 edition, curated by Billboard Latin and Billboard Español editors, spotlights performers discovered through social media, industry networking and live showcases, aiming to give readers an early look at talent poised for wider recognition.

Among those featured is Jorsshh, a songwriter from Culiacán, Sinaloa, who has written hits for Fuerza Regida, Tito Double P and Peso Pluma before releasing his own 18-track debut album, Ay Weyy. Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Elena Sofía, just 17, has amassed millions of streams and signed with Sony Music Latin in April 2026. Also included is 19-year-old Miranda León from Culiacán, who blends regional Mexican sounds with hip-hop and trap influences, with further names such as El Shadow also featured in the roundup.
