José González unveils 2027 Australia and New Zealand tour dates

José González has announced seven shows in Australia and New Zealand for early 2027. The tour marks a return to the region after his 2024 visit, when he celebrated the 20th anniversary of his debut album, *Veneer*.

The run starts in Adelaide on 24 February, then visits Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne before reaching Wellington on 2 March, the New Zealand International Convention Centre on 3 March, and Christchurch on 4 March. Pre-sales begin on 27 October and general tickets go on sale on 30 October; the article also notes González’s recent use of ChatGPT to help write lyrics for a song on his latest album.
