Netflix has released the first preview for “Below”, a limited series starring Josh Hartnett that is due to arrive in October 2026. The drama centres on a fisherman confronting an unidentified sea creature, while also dealing with the lasting impact of his father’s mysterious death.

Hartnett plays Calvin Penney, described as a big-hearted but stubborn fisherman in a small town in Newfoundland. The creature begins terrorising his community, setting up a supernatural threat alongside the character’s personal history and grief.
