JUDAS PRIEST’s ROB HALFORD And IAN HILL Support New Fundraiser For Ukraine

Blabbermouth ·

JUDAS PRIEST frontman Rob Halford and bassist Ian Hill have teamed up with the Steel Wings Foundation, a Ukraine-based heavy metal charity, to launch a new fundraising campaign supporting its work on the ground in Ukraine. Halford has donated a range of personal items as prizes, including bracelets, a cross and tour picks he has handled, giving fans an incentive to donate to a cause providing practical support to people affected by the war.

Every 1 Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) donated earns one entry into the prize draw, so a $2.25 donation (100 UAH) buys 100 chances and a $22.50 donation (1,000 UAH) buys 1,000. A unique, handmade bracelet crafted personally by Halford will go to whoever makes the single largest donation. The pair have also recorded a video appeal urging the metal community to take part. This builds on a 2024 campaign with the same foundation, which raised roughly 1,000,000 UAH (about $22,500) through similar prize incentives.
