Thirteen Nissan Jukes have been stolen across Caerphilly in South Wales within a 24-hour period in a coordinated crimewave. The targeted theft spree is particularly significant given that the Juke is already the sixth most stolen car in Britain, with police urging local residents to remain vigilant and increasing patrols in response. One stolen vehicle has been recovered and is undergoing forensic examination.

The affected vehicles, typically worth around £24,000 new, are highly sought after by thieves. Data from WhatCar? reveals that 1,200 Nissan Jukes were stolen across the UK in 2025, representing a 17 per cent increase from the previous year. The first-generation Juke, produced between 2010 and 2019, is particularly vulnerable, accounting for 88 per cent of all Juke thefts (1,055 vehicles). Caerphilly residents have reported their missing vehicles on social media, with some noting that additional models such as Navaras were also targeted in the area.
