‘Jurassic Park’ Icon Sam Neill’s Final Role Has Been Officially Revealed
Actor Sam Neill, best known for playing Dr Alan Grant in the Jurassic Park films, has had his final on-screen role confirmed following his death on 13 July at St Vincent's Private Hospital in Sydney after a battle with pneumonia. It has been announced that Neill will appear in the upcoming Legend of Zelda film, meaning fans will see him on screen one last time when the movie reaches cinemas.
Details of which character Neill will play have not been disclosed, and the announcement also confirmed that Yvonne Strahovski (The Handmaid's Tale) and Dichen Lachman (Severance, Jurassic World: Dominion) have joined the cast in undisclosed roles. The Legend of Zelda is due for release in theatres on 30 April 2027. Neill, who also starred as Inspector Chester Campbell in Peaky Blinders and appeared in Netflix's Untamed, will not feature in the second season of Untamed despite having filmed scenes for it before his death.
