Anne Hathaway's next film, The End of Oak Street, is set for a theatrical release on 14 August, marking her fifth movie of a busy 2026 that has already included Mother Mary, The Devil Wears Prada 2 and the record-breaking The Odyssey. Formerly titled Flowervale Street, the sci-fi survival film blends elements reminiscent of Jurassic Park and It Follows, offering a distinctive change of pace from her recent projects and continuing a particularly prolific year for the actress.

The film stars Hathaway alongside Ewan McGregor as Denise and Greg Platt, a suburban couple whose ordinary street is inexplicably transported into a primeval, dinosaur-filled jungle. It is written and directed by David Robert Mitchell, best known for the cult horror hit It Follows, ahead of his upcoming sequel They Follow. The announcement follows the record-setting opening weekend of The Odyssey, which earned $264 million and drew widespread critical praise.
