JYP Entertainment’s Q2 revenues fell 15.1% YoY, net profit down 40.3%, in the gap between Stray Kids’ world tours

JYP Entertainment reported lower revenue and profit for the second quarter of 2026, largely because the period fell between major Stray Kids world tours. The comparison was particularly difficult because Stray Kids’ previous dominATE tour was still generating substantial concert and merchandise income in the same quarter of 2025, underscoring JYP’s dependence on large-scale live activity.

Revenue fell 15.1% year on year to KRW 183.1 billion ($122 million), while net profit declined 40.3% to KRW 21.7 billion ($14.5 million) and operating profit dropped 41.4%. Concert and merchandise revenue fell by roughly a third, but physical album sales rose 36.7% and streaming income increased 71.6%; JYP also reported weaker margins despite lower artist fees, while rivals HYBE and SM Entertainment recorded revenue growth.
