Kanye West Settles Sexual Assault and Wrongful Termination Lawsuit With Ex-Staffer

Rolling Stone · 3 hours ago

Kanye West has settled a lawsuit brought by his former personal assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, who accused him of sexual assault, sex trafficking and wrongful termination. The case, filed in June 2024, was one of several legal actions West has faced since 2022, and its resolution avoids a trial over some of the most serious allegations levelled against him.

Court documents show the settlement was reached on 23 July 2026, with Pisciotta required to file a dismissal request within 45 days; the terms have not been disclosed. Pisciotta, who worked for West from 2021 to 2023, later amended her lawsuit to add claims of stalking, sexual battery, false imprisonment and drugging, while West's representatives previously dismissed the allegations as "baseless" and accused her of blackmail. Her lawyer said only that "the matter has been resolved", and West's representatives did not immediately comment.
