Karol G opened her Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour with a sold-out show at Chicago’s Soldier Field, presenting a large-scale celebration of Latin American identity, joy and female empowerment. The review describes the concert as her most ambitious tour yet, reinforcing her status as one of Latin music’s biggest global stars and as a prominent figure for Latina audiences.

The nearly two-and-a-half-hour performance featured more than 20 dancers, elaborate rainforest and Colombian mountainside staging, fireworks and a four-act story of self-discovery. The 63-stadium tour will travel through North and Latin America and Europe until mid-2027; its opening set included “Latina Foreva”, “Qlona”, “El Makinon”, “Mamiii” and “200 Copas”, alongside an all-female mariachi group and appearances in pre-recorded material by Edward James Olmos.
