Kate Voegele Sings From The Other Side Of A Bad Experience On ‘Bad Taste’
Kate Voegele’s new song ‘Bad Taste’ turns the aftermath of a difficult experience into a statement of emotional independence. She says writing its petty, unapologetic lyrics was fun, as it let her express thoughts she would not usually say aloud.
The pop-rock track opens with handclaps that return as a rhythmic hook, and features on Voegele’s forthcoming album ‘Age of Alchemy’, written entirely by her. The album blends contemporary pop-rock and alternative pop with acoustic textures. Known for playing Mia Catalano on ‘One Tree Hill’, Voegele is taking songs from the series, career favourites and new material on her Then & Now Tour, which follows an 83-date tour and is due to reach the US this winter and Europe in March 2027.
