Kathleen Hanna, Ad-Rock, Tom Morello, Fred Armisen and other artists have contributed to Contra-ICE Vol. 1: ICE OUT, a benefit compilation supporting immigrant-rights groups. Released on 2 October by SoundsGood Records, the album will direct proceeds to the National Day Laborer Organizing Network and Unión del Barrio, while seeking to raise awareness of ICE enforcement and support frontline organisations.

The project, curated by Build Art Make Change founder Dali Colorado, includes more than 30 musicians, spoken-word performers and comedians, with exclusive and previously unreleased material. Its first single is a cover of DJ Snake and Justin Bieber’s “Let Me Love You” featuring Hanna, Ad-Rock, Money Mark, Fred Ortiz and Frank Figueroa; a related all-day Los Angeles event is planned for 3 October, and the compilation will be sold digitally, on CD and in limited vinyl editions.
