Katie Gregson-MacLeod Shares Debut Album ‘Albatross’

Scottish singer-songwriter Katie Gregson-MacLeod has released her debut album, *Albatross*, independently through Matt Maltese’s label Last Recordings on Earth. The 25-year-old first gained wider attention on TikTok with her song “Complex” in 2021; the album marks a new release following her return to Scotland after time in London.

The 12-track record draws on Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s *The Rime of the Ancient Mariner* and explores desire, relationship breakdown and personal change. Recorded live over two weeks in Frome with producer Dom Monks and co-producer Will Taylor of Flyte, it arrives with focus track “Roadkill”. Gregson-MacLeod will tour the UK and Ireland in February 2027, including a headline show at London’s Bush Hall on 5 February.
