Daily Mail ·

Kieran Hayler denied raping a 13-year-old girl in 2016, telling Lewes Crown Court that the allegations had been fabricated. He also accused his then-wife, Katie Price, of coaching the girl, a claim he made while giving evidence in his defence.

Hayler, 39, denies three rape charges and one sexual assault charge, and has also pleaded not guilty to four alternative charges of sexual activity with a child. The court heard that the alleged victim contacted the NSPCC in 2021, which referred the matter to police. Hayler said he found messages between Price and the girl in 2017, including Price’s promise to make her “a little star”; Price described that phrase as a figure of speech.
