NBC has revealed the host and musical guest lineup for the first four episodes of Saturday Night Live's 52nd season, which begins on 26 September. K-pop group KATSEYE will make their SNL debut on the season premiere, hosted by NBA star Jalen Brunson, who is also appearing for the first time. The announcement, made on 9 September, comes as the show continues to ride high on its status as television's most Emmy-nominated and Emmy-winning programme.

Dakota Johnson returns for her third hosting stint on 3 October alongside first-time musical guest Turnstile, followed by comedian Shane Gillis's third episode on 10 October featuring Rosalía, back for the first time since March 2022. After a break, first-time host Inde Navarrette leads a Halloween episode on 31 October with Gracie Abrams making her second SNL musical appearance. It was also announced that the UK spin-off, Saturday Night Live U.K., will launch its second season on 12 September with host Jeff Goldblum and musical guest CMAT, followed by episodes featuring Royal Blood and Rachel Chinouriri.
