KATSEYE’s ‘WILD’ New EP: All Six Tracks Ranked

Global girl group KATSEYE has released their third EP, WILD., on 14 August through HYBE and Geffen Records, marking a new chapter after 2025's breakout project Beautiful Chaos gave the group their first Billboard 200 top 10. The six-track release arrives at a turbulent time, as it is the group's first project promoted without members Manon and Sophia, who have both stepped away for mental health-related hiatuses, leaving Lara, Daniela, Yoonchae and Megan to front the campaign. Despite this, the EP underlines KATSEYE's rapid rise as a global pop force, exploring themes of freedom, flirtation, heartbreak and desire as the members embrace change.

The lead single "Pinky Up" peaked at No. 28 on the Hot 100, while second single "Animal", co-written with Ed Sheeran, gave the group their first top 10 on the Billboard Global 200 at No. 10. The release coincides with the theatrical documentary KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS and comes after the group broke Spotify's record for most pre-saves by a girl group. Billboard's article ranks all six tracks on the EP, including "Hootie Frutti", a flirtatious song built on fruit-themed double entendres, and "Pinky Up", described as a carefree anthem about living in the moment.
