Katy Perry's 'Lifetimes Tour' concert film will screen in more than 150 UK cinemas, following a run that raised over £80,000 for the Music Venue Trust, which supports grassroots music venues. The release comes as UK small venues face significant financial strain, with 30 having closed permanently between July 2024 and July 2025 and thousands of jobs lost, making the charitable contribution particularly timely amid ongoing calls for arena and stadium gigs to help fund smaller venues.

Titled "Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris", the 132-minute film was shot over two sold-out Paris nights last November using a 60-camera set-up, and includes hits such as "Roar", "Firework" and "Teenage Dream". It launches globally across 70 countries on 2 September, with UK tickets on sale from 30 July; the tour itself sold over a million tickets across 91 shows in 23 countries and also donated $264,814 (£198,124) to Perry's Firework Foundation.
