Toronto International Film Festival has revealed the first 51 projects for TIFF: The Market, a new international financing and project market running alongside the festival from 10-16 September 2026. The initiative aims to connect established producers with financiers, distributors, sales agents and executives who can help bring their projects to fruition, marking a significant expansion of TIFF's role beyond film screenings into industry dealmaking.

The line-up features 40 features, six series and five innovative or immersive works, with notable titles including animated feature Central Park Tale, boasting a voice cast of Keke Palmer, Alan Cumming, Common and Regina Hall, and Sher, a collaboration between director Deepa Mehta and actor Jeremy Irons. Producers from 13 countries, including Canada, the UK, the US, India and Zimbabwe, will present their work through networking sessions, with participants also gaining access to TIFF's digital meeting tools and the chance to compete for industry awards.
