Kelly Clarkson has hosted the final episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, ending the Daytime Emmy-winning talk show after seven seasons with an emotional instalment featuring her two children, River and Remington. Clarkson announced in February that she would step away from the daily programme following the death of her ex-husband, music executive Brandon Blackstock, who died aged 48 after a three-year battle with cancer, saying the move would let her prioritise her children.

The finale, broadcast on Monday 31 August, featured a special Kellyoke performance of "Golden" from KPop Demon Hunters, along with Clarkson performing her own hits "Since U Been Gone" and "Stronger" after seven years of covering other artists' songs in the segment. She noted the show had featured more than 1,000 Kellyoke performances, while her children shared favourite memories, including River enjoying watching her mother "shine" and Remington recalling singing with Jason Momoa. Clarkson thanked her crew and audience before signing off, and will continue other projects including coaching on The Voice; she is also nominated for two awards at this year's Daytime Emmys.
