Kelly Clarkson joked that she was already frustrated with fellow coach Riley Green during the season 30 premiere of The Voice. Green twice beat her to country performers, including Joe Henley and sisters Ferryn and Brinkley, prompting Clarkson to blame his cowboy image and apparent appeal to contestants.

The sisters’ audition produced the season’s first four-chair turn, with Green defeating Clarkson, Adam Levine and Queen Latifah to recruit them. Green also secured Caroline Alexis after being the only coach to turn for her, leading him to claim that Team Riley was already the one to beat. New episodes continue on NBC on Tuesday and Wednesday.
