Kirby Air Riders’ Cancelled Halloween Event Gets A Returning Replacement

Nintendo cancelled Kirby Air Riders’ Trick or Treat Halloween event after players reported that screens froze during matches. The disruption led Nintendo to replace the event, which starts on 5 November in Europe and brings back a previous ruleset.

The replacement runs until 9 November at 7pm PT. Players can still earn the Ghost headwear reward for 1,100 points, but points from the cancelled event have been reset to zero; Nintendo says matches will now award more points to make earning rewards easier.
