KK’S PRIEST Releases Music Video For New Version Of JUDAS PRIEST Classic ‘Never Satisfied’
KK’s Priest, featuring former Judas Priest guitarist K.K. Downing and singer Tim “Ripper” Owens, have released a new recording and music video for “Never Satisfied”. The song first appeared on Judas Priest’s 1974 debut album, and Downing says revisiting it lets the current line-up give the early material a fresh interpretation.
The video was directed by John Psaras, and the track is available to download free for a limited time on Bandcamp. Its release coincides with Reach Music acquiring the rights to “Rocka Rolla” and “Sad Wings of Destiny”; the former has been reissued, while the latter is due in November. KK’s Priest are also touring North America with W.A.S.P., with Downing saying they had completed 21 of 42 shows.

Judas Priest are a British heavy metal band whose 1974 debut album, Rocka Rolla, included “Never Satisfied”. K.K. Downing was one of the band’s guitarists for decades before leaving in 2011.
Downing later formed KK’s Priest, whose singer is Tim “Ripper” Owens, a former Judas Priest vocalist. The group performs new material as well as revisiting songs from Judas Priest’s early catalogue.
The song’s history is part of a wider interest in the band’s early recordings, including Rocka Rolla and Sad Wings of Destiny. These albums helped establish Judas Priest’s place in heavy metal, while KK’s Priest’s performances connect that older catalogue with a newer line-up.
