The film's strong performance lifted the entire Korean cinema market substantially, with weekend revenues reaching $17.1 million compared to $8.2 million the previous week. Competing releases including animated features and other recent arrivals claimed smaller portions of the market, indicating that local viewer interest concentrated heavily on the top-performing title.
