The film's continued dominance underlines its strength as the year's leading blockbuster in the territory, while newcomer "Obsession" rose to second place, suggesting a modest reshuffling further down the chart even as "The Odyssey" remains far ahead of its rivals.

Over the 11–13 September weekend, "The Odyssey" earned $3.9 million from 449,474 admissions across 1,648 screens, taking 51.4% of the market and lifting its cumulative gross to $89.6 million since its 5 August release. "Obsession" climbed to second in its second weekend with $1.4 million, ahead of "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" ($544,123, seventh weekend), new entry "The Drama" ($223,340), and family drama "The Journey to Gyeongju" ($124,071). The overall weekend market totalled $7.6 million, down from $9.8 million the previous week.
