‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Merch Expands With Lego Set Designed in Record Time
Lego has released its first set based on Netflix's hit animated film KPop Demon Hunters, adding to the franchise's rapidly expanding range of merchandise. The Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird build arrived less than a year after the film's debut, with designers saying it was one of the fastest turnarounds for a licensed Lego project, moving from concept to finished model quickly once they settled on how to capture the fan-favourite duo.
The 825-piece set costs $69.99 and is aimed at builders aged nine and up, featuring poseable characters and details drawn from the film. Derpy has two facial expressions and a hidden storage compartment in its head, while Sussie has a rotating neck and adjustable feet; accessories include love notes referencing Rumi and Jinu and a flower pot nodding to a scene involving Derpy. The set adds to the franchise's growing merchandise lineup, which also includes a Netflix-announced global concert tour revealed in May, with full details expected later this year.
