Boston-formed indie rock band Krill have announced Secret Language, their first album in a decade, due out on 13 November through Exploding in Sound. The announcement confirms the group’s return following a reunion in Chicago, with the new single “Dominate” addressing competition, violence and the cultural influence of American power narratives.

Krill split in 2015 after releasing Distant Fist Unclenching and an accompanying EP, but have since reunited for live shows, reissued their debut and released a 2020 album as Knot, now retroactively considered a Krill record. The nine-track album was produced and engineered by Patter’s Seth Engel, with contributions from several guest musicians, and will be supported by concerts in Chicago, New York and Philadelphia, plus an appearance at Some Fest in Maine.
