Kris Bowers Set to Compose Original Score For Disney’s Animated Feature ‘Hexed’ (EXCLUSIVE)
Kris Bowers will compose the original score for Disney’s animated feature “Hexed”, a coming-of-age story about a teenager whose magical abilities lead her into a hidden world of witches. The film is scheduled to reach cinemas on 25 November.
Bowers says he used experimental sounds, including bird calls, wind instruments, bottles and recordings of birds, alongside orchestra, woodwinds and synthesizers. Directed by Fawn Veerasunthorn and Jason Hand, the film stars Hailee Steinfeld, Rashida Jones, Jodie Foster and Walton Goggins, and centres on a mother-daughter relationship as well as its magical adventure.
