Kusan: City Of Wolves Channels Some Serious Hotline Miami Vibes On Switch Today
Kusan: City of Wolves has launched on the Nintendo Switch eShop, offering a fast, violent top-down shooter strongly reminiscent of Hotline Miami. Players control Jin, an ex-soldier and anthropomorphic big cat who must fight through a hostile tower block to protect a girl whose powers could destroy the city.
The game features 54 hand-crafted stages, boss battles, weapons including the War Hand and Quantum Knife, and an upgrade system called Techtrix for customising builds. Its neo-noir pixel-art setting, comic-panel story scenes and soundtrack by hip-hop artist Loptimist support its gritty tone; a Push Square review awarded it 7/10, praising its challenge while noting control and narrative problems.
