The appearance marked the first time the pair had sung the song together live since Cave's surprise Glastonbury cameo during Minogue's legends slot in 2019, delighting fans of one of Australian music's most celebrated collaborations. Minogue later described herself as forever Cave's "Wild Rose" in an Instagram post thanking the band for a memorable night.

The song, written by Cave, was the lead single from the Bad Seeds' 1996 album Murder Ballads and became the band's biggest commercial hit, reaching number two in Australia and number 11 in the UK, as well as winning an ARIA Award.
