La Roux has released ‘Lose Myself’, a new single from her forthcoming fourth album, ‘Old Flames’. The song sees Elly Jackson address addiction, self-medication and her auADHD diagnosis, framing the struggle as a conflict between wanting to recover and wanting to escape; it matters as a candid preview of an album centred on identity, love and personal change.

‘Old Flames’ will be released on 6 November through Vertigo Records, following 2020’s ‘Supervision’, and has already produced the singles ‘Babyline’ and ‘Cabin Fever’. Jackson has said the album also confronts the end of a 17-year relationship, loneliness linked to addiction and the pressures of reconciling sexuality and identity in public; La Roux will tour the US, UK, Ireland and Australia this year supporting Hilary Duff.
