Country star Lainey Wilson is set to perform two benefit concerts on 20 October at the Ellis Theater in Philadelphia to raise money for Marty Stuart's Congress of Country Music, a planned museum and campus dedicated to preserving country music history. Stuart, a Grand Ole Opry and Country Music Hall of Fame member with a career stretching back to the 1960s, praised Wilson as an authentic and fearless performer who has become a touchstone figure for fans, and personally invited her to support the project.

The Congress of Country Music aims to house what is described as the largest private collection of country music artefacts in the world, comprising more than 20,000 items amassed by Stuart over his career, within a planned campus exceeding 50,000 square feet. Proceeds from Wilson's shows, scheduled for 5:30pm and 8:30pm, will go directly towards funding the museum, which is intended to preserve and pass on the genre's history to future generations.
