Lamborghini has unveiled the Revuelto SV, a higher-performance version of its flagship V12 hybrid supercar. The SV badge, meaning “Superveloce” or “super fast”, signals sharper performance, lower weight and more track-focused engineering, extending a designation previously used on models including the Miura, Diablo, Murciélago and Aventador.

The Revuelto SV retains a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 and three electric motors, producing 1,065cv (about 1,050hp), roughly 50hp more than the standard car. Its revised battery adds 7.3kWh of capacity and higher power output to sustain performance during hard laps, while gear shifts are 30 per cent quicker. Lamborghini has also used carbon fibre for components including the bumpers, rear wing, door panels and racing seats, achieving a stated power-to-weight ratio of 1.66kg/CV.
