Laura Veirs – “Arc Still Bends”
Singer-songwriter Laura Veirs has released "Arc Still Bends," a new song ahead of her upcoming solo album Temple Songs, which arrives on 14 August via her own label, Raven Marching Band Records. The track is a wistful meditation on holding onto hope when progress feels distant, and follows previously shared singles "Flying Into Darkness" and "Pulse" from the same record.
Temple Songs marks a return to solo work for Veirs, who a decade ago joined fellow singer-songwriters Neko Case and k.d. lang for the acclaimed trio project case/lang/veirs. That self-titled album is also due a 10th-anniversary reissue next month, featuring a previously unreleased track called "Accidental Tattoo."
