London artist Lava La Rue has released a new single, "Prince Of Bologna," the latest contribution to producer Dan Carey's Speedy Wunderground singles series. The track draws its lyrics from fragments of overheard conversation at a London venue's smoking area, resulting in a mix of reflective and offbeat lines delivered in a hypnotic, deadpan style over post-punk guitars and psychedelic production.

The song was written and co-produced with Tomasso Medica of Husky Loops, with the initial idea developed on a vintage Italian organ during a late-night session in London before being recorded live to tape at Carey's studio. The release includes a dub remix by Carey titled "Prince Of Dublogna," and a limited 7" is available for pre-order alongside the accompanying video.
