Leica and Formula 1 Team Up on $9,950 Camera Inspired by the Racetrack (Featuring Exclusive F1 Photo Setting)
Leica and Formula 1 have partnered on a limited-edition camera priced at $9,950, extending F1’s collaboration with luxury brands as its cultural reach grows. The Leica Q3 43 Formula 1 Edition goes on sale from 20 October and pairs racetrack-inspired design with a dedicated photography setting.
The camera has carbon-fibre details, steering-wheel-like textured covering, red controls and F1 branding. Its exclusive setting increases contrast and colour saturation, with the effect visible in the viewfinder and available through the Leica FOTOS app. The model otherwise shares the Q3 43’s 43mm lens, full-frame sensor, autofocus and video features; it will be sold through Leica and specialist retailers.
