Leaked press images have offered the clearest look yet at Lenovo's upcoming Googlebook devices, Google's Android-based successor to Chromebooks. The images, shared by Digital Citizen and Android Headlines, show a laptop in two sizes and a 2-in-1 tablet, all carrying Googlebook branding, marking the most detailed glimpse of the platform since it was announced in May.

The devices closely resemble Lenovo's existing Chromebook range but include a rear light strip echoing the glowing bar seen on official Googlebook renders, with the tablet's camera housing featuring a similar light bar reminiscent of the rumoured Pixel 11's design. The keyboards also show a new bottom-row key bearing Google's "G" logo, reportedly a dedicated Gemini shortcut, alongside the existing Quick Insert key Chromebooks introduced in 2024. Acer, Asus, Dell, HP and Lenovo are all expected to launch Googlebook models in autumn 2026, with the devices reportedly dropping ChromeOS for a new operating system built heavily around Gemini AI.
