Levity Live has promoted Erin Von Schonfeldt, a comedy executive with more than three decades at the company's Improv comedy clubs, to the newly created role of Chief Programming Officer. The move recognises her contributions to shaping the venue chain's programming and reflects the trust placed in her by company leadership as she takes on responsibility for the group's long-term programming strategy.

Von Schonfeldt began her career as a server at the Irvine Improv in 1991 before rising through the organisation to oversee programming at Improv venues nationwide, most recently as Executive Vice President of Programming. Over her career she has booked and championed comedians including Bert Kreischer, Sarah Silverman, Daniel Tosh, Taylor Tomlinson, Zach Galifianakis and Kathleen Madigan, and in 2023 helped organise the Improv's 60th-anniversary celebrations, including the Netflix special "The Improv: 60 and Still Standing." Levity Live founder Robert Hartmann and CEO Alireza Ghaemian both praised her talent-spotting instincts and dedication as central to the brand's success.
